To be considered for a Marcus High School PTSA Scholarship, you must be a MHS PTSA member prior to 31-JAN-2016.

Lewisville ISD Education Foundation Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors to help them in their continued educational journey. Scholarships are awarded based on specific criteria established by donors. These criteria range from academic achievement and community involvement to success outside of academic ranking and career aspirations.
The deadline is no later than 4:30 p.m. on the last Friday in January.
Lewisville ISD’s Superintendent Dr. Kevin Rogers invites LISD parents to attend one of five evening LISD Coffee Talks (two in Español). This event is an opportunity to sit down and have a conversation about the great things happening in and around the district. Coffee, snacks and free childcare will be provided. No RSVP is required to attend these events.

Hebron Valley Elementary - Thursday, Feb. 4 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 pm

Este evento es una oportunidad para sentarse y tener una conversación sobre las grandes cosas que están pasando en y alrededor del distrito. Se proporcionará café, bocadillos y servicio de guardería gratis. No necesita reservar para atender a estos eventos.

Texas PTA is interested in what interests you, our members. We’d like to learn more about your concerns and insights related to the health, safety and educational opportunities of your children. The number of important issues facing Texas families is growing, so we’ve created a two-part survey to focus on different policy areas and legislation.
Please take a moment to complete Part I of this very brief survey so that we may more effectively serve you through the development of programs and services, and more effectively represent you at the Texas Capitol. All responses must be received by Monday, February 1 at 9:00 a.m., and Texas PTA will use your feedback to consider our legislative priorities for the next two years.
Part II of the survey will be released on February 1.

LISD encourages its community to take a brief survey and vote for the calendar option they would like to see the district adopt for the 2016-2017 school year. The survey will be open from Wednesday, Nov. 4 through Wednesday, Nov. 18.
The Parent Teacher Student Association at Marcus High School would like to personally invite you to join! We want our students to see the importance we place on education by making PTSA a family experience, but we can only succeed with your support. Involved parents are informed parents!
Here are some of our focus areas:
- PTSA coordinate Marcus and Marcus 9 volunteer needs
- PTSA supports programs: PEP, Winning the Fight, Red Ribbon etc.
- PTSA provides college & prom scholarships
- PTSA Magnificient Marauders recognition program
Just a reminder that we have a PTSA meeting tonight at 6:30p in the MHS auditorium.
We are looking for student leaders for the 2015-16 Marcus HS PTSA board. Get valuable experience while contributing to the direction of your PTSA.
