MHS-PEP2Make plans to attend the first Parent Education Program (PEP) of the year.

  • Topic: Hands-on Training in Skyward Family Access”
  • Where: MHS-9 Room 9208
  • When: Wednesday, September 2 from 6:00p – 7:00p

Parents will be guided through the process of accessing grades, viewing calendars, etc.  Child care will be provided on-site for children under 12.  For more information contact Jill Adams (at MHS) adamsj@lisd.net or Dr. Erum Shahzad (at MHS-9) shahzade@lisd.net.

 

PEP is offered the first Wednesday of the month.  Specific topics will be shared in the next couple of weeks.

Curbside Recycling – Tomorrow!

Electronic RecycleCurbside Recycling will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon in front of Marcus High School.

Please support MHS by donating your tax deductible, household items. Acceptable items include computers, cameras, office equipment, multi-media items, clothing and accessories, toys and games, portable electronics, video games, sporting goods, musical instruments, home and garden items, non fiction books, jewelry and non perishable & canned foods.

Please note that console/projection/and CRT style TVs can no longer be accepted.

All proceeds go directly to Marcus High School.

Topic: PEP Plus – College Admission
When: Wednesday, December 3 @ 6:00 PM

Marcus High School’s Parent Education Program is presenting a new kind of session this month — PEP Plus sessions bring students and their parents together to grow and learn!  Join us for a night of FREE seminars about college planning — everything from tests to essays to financial aid will be discussed in these sessions. This event is open to all parents of MHS students and any feeder schools to MHS.

Free child care will be provided for younger children.

Not sure what your kids are up to online? Real-life Marcus teens will share some of the secrets about what is going on in social media and help you know what to look out for to keep your child safe and avoid cyber bullying.

Free child care will be provided for younger children.

This month the Marcus PEP is offering a hands-on training for parents about Skyward Family Access.  Did you know that report cards are being delivered online this year?  This session will show you how to track your child’s progress online.

This is a reminder about Marcus High School’s Parent Education session THIS EVENING, Wednesday May 7 at 6pm. Law enforcement representatives will be on-hand to present information about teens and drug use, and give straight answers to your questions.

Free child care will be provided for younger children.
